 BJD = Ball Jointed Dolls
There are ball pieces in the joint areas (like wrists and ankles, etc) so the doll can be moved and positioned the way humans can move.  Your fairies are so beautiful! I love that you didn't go with the cliche butterfly wings. One thing I'm wondering about is why none of them are smiling. They all look so sad.
